Join us for TIFR’s inaugural Art&Archives Colloquium in association with ART MUMBAI!
Mortimer Chatterjee will be presenting his reflections and learnings from his last fifteen years working with the inimitable and hallowed TIFR collection. Tracing the development of the TIFR collection between the 1950s and 1970s demands a multi-faceted approach to the art and culture ecosystem of the period. This presentation will traverse what is arguably India’s most prominent eras of art through the lens of Homi Bhabha and his prevalent choices.
Admission is free, and open to all. Registration is essential. Please email tifr.archives@gmail.com to attend.
