MAG was established in 2013 in a heritage building beside the Kashmere Gate Monument, on the edge of Shahajahanabad’s historic Walled City. In 2018, the gallery expanded to Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, strengthening its role as an accessible and dynamic space for art, dialogue, and collecting across the city.
