ANUPA MEHTA CONTEMPORARY ART (AMCA), now located in Colaba on the Mumbai Art Mile, was initiated in 2008 as THE LOFT at Lower Parel, and earlier housed in an erstwhile mill in the heart of Mumbai's textile district. Our new space opened in December 2023, but our program in support of internationally recognised mid-career contemporary artists has been in play since 16 years. We represent both Indian and foreign artists from across India and overseas. AMCA is led by Anupa Mehta who has been an arts editor, curator and art consultant with over three decades of standing in the Indian art world.
