The gallery has held over 600 exhibitions, including 20 retrospectives, and published more than 450 books and catalogues celebrating the work of both distinguished artists like M F Husain, Tyeb Mehta, Francis Newton Souza, Akbar Padamsee, Somnath Hore, K G Subramanyan and Sudhir Patwardhan, as well as new and emerging talent from India and abroad.
